The short version

Offload has no account and no server-side copy of your documents. Your document data lives only on your device, so deleting it is entirely in your hands — no request to us is needed for that part. A few narrow pieces of data reach our service providers only when you actively use a feature that requires it (feedback, PIN recovery); email us to have those deleted.

01 Your data, on your device — delete it yourself

You're in control of your data. Everything Offload tracks — documents, IDs, scans, plates, VINs, service history, reminders — is stored only on your device. You can remove it yourself, instantly, in any of these ways:

  • Delete any single item directly in the app.
  • Erase everything at once with Settings → Security & Data → Erase all Offload data. This wipes your item database, photos/attachments, PIN and lock settings, cached backup password, and enrolled recovery email — all on-device, immediately.
  • Uninstall the app. Offload does not use your device's automatic OS backup (Android Auto Backup / iCloud backup is disabled for its data), so uninstalling removes all local data with nothing left behind to restore from. This is the mechanism of last resort if the in-app wipe is ever unavailable to you.

02 Deleting your Google Drive backup

If you turned on Encrypted Backup, an encrypted copy (unreadable by us or by Google) sits in a private, app-only folder in your own Google Drive. To remove it:

  • In Offload, open Settings → Backup and turn backup off / delete the existing backup, or
  • From Google's side: on Android, Settings → Google → All services → Manage your Google Account → Data & privacy → Apps with access to your data, find Offload, and remove its access (this deletes its app-data storage); or visit drive.google.com → Settings → Manage apps to remove Offload's hidden app data directly.

03 Data held by our service providers

A few narrow things reach our service providers only when you actively use a feature that sends them — never your documents, IDs, plates, or scans:

  • Feedback you submitted — message text, category, app version, platform, and a random install ID (stored via Supabase).
  • PIN-recovery email, if you enrolled one (Supabase Auth) — used only to send you a one-time reset code.
  • Anonymous crash diagnostics (Sentry) — error type, stack trace, app/device version; not tied to your identity.
  • Purchase records — handled by the App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat, governed by their own retention.

Email [email protected] and we will delete what we hold, normally within 30 days. Include enough detail for us to find it — for example, the approximate date you sent feedback, or the recovery email address you enrolled. We never receive your documents, IDs, or scans in the first place, so there is nothing on our side to delete for those.
